Benedictines of Jesus Crucified need help
Monasteries need our assistance to keep going. What makes this monastery special?
What distinguishes our group of sisters is that since its foundation, the community has opened its arms to women with lifelong disabilities. Some problems are apparent while other limitations are less obvious such as congenital heart disease. Despite substantial impairments and often chronic pain, the sisters spend their days in prayer and sacrifice, and in giving to others. We consider our poor health and physical frailty as a remembrance of and identification with Jesus in His suffering and death. At this time, the sisters. disabilities are compounded by advancing years. The average age of our sisters in this community is 73 years old. Ten of the sisters are wheelchair bound.
Their prayers are rising to heaven and you can help to answer them. You can donate here to help out the nuns who are in need of funds to keep the monastery going. As our monasteries grow older they are likely to need our help more. And it is a work of charity to help out where we can.
Also pray that others donate and help the cause.
God bless,
Jay

I've never heard of the Benedictines of Jesus Crucified. Are they new? Please tell me more. I've received a couple of e-mails from them and am curious.
Thanks!

I know these nuns, they are very nice ladies. I was once one of them but then I left but the time I passed with them was I think the happiest of my life. Now I live in Paris, but I still go back and visit them, they have become part of my family.
