Catholic Search Engine

Google now allows you to create tailored search engines, so I took an initial shot at it. Here's a Catholic search engine. Basically it moves the sites that I've (along with help) marked as "Catholic" to the top of the pile. So a search for Da Vinci Code returns a very different set of results than a normal Google search. It isn't perfect, but it's a great start - particularly for those looking to do Catholic research.

Now where you can help (if you will!): know any great Catholic sites? Send them to me. Know any anti-Catholic sites that should be excluded? Send them to me. I'm adding lots of sites every day, but I would like to make it pretty comprehensive, so that you end up with a great search engine that returns valid, Catholic results.

You can send me suggestions at jay [at] living catholicism [dot] com. And test out the search engine here. If you see something odd - like a site that shouldn't be included, let me know. By the way, I can't control the ads, so they are likely to be a little off center for Catholics. Let me know what you think!

God bless,
Jay
