We Love You, JPII!
Today, this 2nd day of the month of April, in the year 2005 our Holy Father, Pope John Paul II has been taken to heaven. With tears in my eyes I write these words, tears of joy and thanksgiving, tears of sorrow and loss. He was truly a man of God, a man who loved and was loved in return. I will pay tribute to him and his legacy with the following, which I know with certainty he recited every night:
Lord, now you let your servant go in peace, your word has been fulfilled;
my own eyes have seen the salvation which you have prepared in the sight of every people,
a light to reveal you to the nations and the glory of your people Israel.Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen.

Holy Father please pray for us. We love you and miss you. Thank you Lord Jesus for giving us such a shepherd. Amen.
