Pope Benedict XVI picks our friend as Lector

Word just arrived that Joseph's brother Justin will be one of the lectors at Pope Benedict XVI's installation mass. Joseph is the other contributor to this blog (I'm close friends with both Joseph and Justin). Justin is in Rome at the American college as he trains to become a priest. Very exciting for us!

By the way, he (Justin) was also on Life on the Rock last night talking about watching the announcement of Cardinal Ratzinger as Pope Benedict XVI live. And Joseph mentioned that the lector at his wedding is now the lector at Pope Benedict XVI's installation mass. Pretty good stuff.

Please keep him in your prayers as he continues his preparation for the priesthood. And let's hope he pronounces everything correctly ;-)

God bless,
Jay

Update: There's a pretty good article about Justin and his role in today's Atlanta Journal Constitution (on 4/25/05) - see page 6 in the main section.
