Prayers for Pope John Paul II

If you haven't heard, Pope John Paul II had to have a tracheotomy today and now he is on a respirator. The Pope has a special devotion to Mary, so please say a Hail Mary or a Rosary for his health.

I'm also reading his biography, Witness to Hope, and with each page I am more impressed by him. He truly is an amazing man and God gave him to us at exactly the right point in history. I believe his enduring legacy is likely to be the Theology of the Body, which still isn't completely understood. I'm saying all this to point out how blessed we have been to have a pope like John Paul II. Thanks be to God.

God bless,
Jay
